''Little girl supported in parallelepiped' - 'Nina apoyada en paralelepipedo' , Sculpture, Size: Small, 18 x 10 x 37 cm. MATERIAL: Huamanga Stone, Piedra de Huamanga, (Peruvian Alabaster from Ayacucho, from the quarries of the city of Huamanga). It is the Peruvian stone that replaces the Western marble. This stone is the historical, artistic and cultural stone of Peru, it is white or soft grey, soft, fragile and with grades of translucency. It obtained the Quechua denomination of 'nino rumi' (stone of child) in allusion to the religious sculptures of the baby Jesus that proliferated in the viceregal period and for its fragility TECHNIQUE: Carving on stone.
